Senior Strategic Operations Associate, Taxi

About the Role
The US&C Taxi Team is responsible for developing and executing on a strategy for integrating taxis onto our platform & growing into new categories. We are seeking an individual who has strong operational and business acumen, and helps drive growth with key initiatives for our Taxi strategy.

We are looking for a strong Individual Contributor (IC) with sharp business acumen and a "builder" mindset. This is a high-visibility role where the role directly scales the US&C Taxi business.

In this high-visibility role, you will lead the strategic vision for our taxi category. This position directly impacts the growth and scaling of our regional taxi business.

What the Candidate Will Do:
  • Drive Strategic Growth & Market Expansion: Architect the end-to-end category strategy for encompassing commercial frameworks, go-to-market execution, and cross-functional collaboration with Product and Operations across critical new markets. Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience in management, consulting, investment banking, technology, any operations-intense fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial setting, or related fields.
  • Experience "Building" a growth product.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Easily adapt to a constantly-changing work environments.
  • Data-driven decision mentality through strong analytical thinking.
  • Strategic Problem Solving.
  • Experience with external partner management.
  • A proven track record in growing new verticals.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
