Yum! Brands is looking for a Sr. Backend Software Engineer to help shape the future of restaurant tech through our proprietary Byte by Yum! Labor & Inventory platform. This role is all about building intuitive, scalable tools that empower restaurant managers to handle scheduling, inventory, and financials with ease. You'll be part of a fast-moving delivery team focused on creating a web-based Restaurant Management Platform that makes running a restaurant smarter, faster, and more connected.

Salary: $114,000 - $155,000 annually + bonus eligibility
This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in establishing pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

What You Bring:
- A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications
- Experience developing RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs with Node.js
- Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server) and Redis or other NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with AWS cloud and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Experience working in Agile teams with a strong delivery mindset
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for clean, maintainable code
- Ability to take ownership and thrive in a collaborative team environment as well as work independently on building solutions to complex business challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders and partners across the team and organization.
- Familiarity with Golang a definite plus, but not required
