Chipotle enforces a dress code that emphasizes cleanliness, comfort, and professionalism. Team members are expected to follow strict food safety guidelines while representing the Chipotle brand with a neat and consistent appearance.
Department Guidelines
Uniform:Chipotle-issued black t-shirt or polo, branded apron, and black Chipotle hat or visor.
Pants:Solid black pants or black jeans are allowed, as long as they are clean, non-ripped, and well-fitting.
Footwear:Black, closed-toe, slip-resistant shoes are required for safety.
Accessories:Hair must be tied back. Jewelry should be minimal. Facial hair may need to be covered with a beard net. Aprons and hats must be worn at all times on the line.
