The Five Guys dress code emphasizes cleanliness, food safety, and brand presentation. Uniforms are standardized across locations, with strict hygiene rules for employees who work in food prep or customer-facing roles.
Department Guidelines
Uniform:Company-issued red Five Guys t-shirt or polo, branded hat or visor, and apron (in food prep areas).
Pants:Black or dark blue pants (no jeans with rips, joggers, or leggings). Pants must be clean and in good condition.
Footwear:Black, slip-resistant, closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
Accessories:Company name tag (if provided) must be worn. No large jewelry. Fingernails must be trimmed and clean.
