Our Assistant General Managers have a number of responsibilities, including:

Hiring high quality people who demonstrate and ensure consistent guest satisfaction through perfect food, great customer service and a sparkling-clean store.

Continuously improving the skills, knowledge, and morale of all employees within their supervision. Ensuring all employees receive the necessary training and support to perform their duties to Five Guys' expectations.

Treating all employees with dignity and respect and creating an environment where the entire restaurant team does the same.

Communicating company goals, decisions, and directives to their team and following up to ensure understanding.

Managing inventory and analyzing financial documents to maximize the financial performance and profits of the restaurant.

Having full accountability for how the store runs under your watch, including secret shopper results.
