New Store Merchandising ManagerOversees the field execution of new store openings and all merchandising capital project resets. Responsible for all merchandise activities associated with new stores. Manages all New Store Merchandising Managers for effective implementation of new stores, major remodels, and major capital projects.

Establish Division implementation strategy. Manage and direct work of all New Store Merchandising Managers and capital projects Design Place Managers in division for effective implementation of new stores, major remodels, and major capital projects. Partner with Division MVP and store merchandising to drive execution of a consistent approach for new stores and capital projects.

Partner with other functions (i.e., Store Planning, Store Construction, ASSC Merchandising, Advertising, In-Store Service group, etc.) to ensure successful new store openings. Travel throughout the Division to provide oversight and quality assurance audits/checks. Collaborate with vendors and internal partners on troubleshooting. Identify and manage execution of solutions and recommendations.

Partner with Core merchandising and Store merchandising to determine product selection and place product orders for new stores. Collaborate with New Store Merchants and suppliers on order fulfillment and on time schedule adherence.

Typically reports to Dual reports to Division Merchandise Vice President and SSC Dir Field Implementation. Accountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors. Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
