Line Operator, Overnight, Fresh Kitchen - Deerfield | Publix Super Markets, Inc.

Efficiently operating all equipment on the line.
Troubleshooting process problems on all assigned equipment.
Leading all production team members on the line.
Ensuring correct usage of raw materials, labels, etc.
Coordinating all breaks and lunches for associates working on the line.
Leading associates to meet the production schedule.
Cross-training all production associates.
Encouraging associates to adhere to all safety guidelines and practices.
Maintaining clean equipment in area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Completing all necessary paperwork required by the position and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to push or pull heavy equipment.
Must have basic mechanical skills.
Must possess general knowledge of machine operation.
Must be able to use creative thinking for troubleshooting.
Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Must demonstrate safe working habits.
Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player).
Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
Must be willing to assist other team members in other areas.
Must be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time.
Must be able to work efficiently with little or no supervision.
Must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
Must possess basic math skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively.

Hours of work: 7:00pm-5:30am; rotating days.
Work environment: Temperatures range from 35 to 55 degrees.
Frequency of pay: Weekly.
Minimum base pay: $18.60.
Maximum base pay: $25.65.
Potential annual base pay: $38,688 - $53,352.
Year end bonus: To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment, the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment, the bonus is equal to one week's pay if the associate remains employed through the issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.
Other compensation information: Weekend differential: A $2.00 per hour weekend differential is paid to associates for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday. Night differential: A $0.75 per hour night differential is paid to associates regularly scheduled to work any hours between midnight and 3:00 a.m. (this does not include shifts that end at midnight or begin at 3:00 a.m.).
