Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Assisting supervision in the efficient operation of the department and ensuring premier service to customers (Distribution, Manufacturing, Office, and all other support associates)
- Monitoring and executing a cafeteria's annual operating cost plan ($500K - $2M)
- Facilitating and executing business area process changes in the cafeteria to ensure smooth transitions

Cafeteria Supervisor - Lakeland
The purpose of this position is to lead the day-to-day activities and functions within one of 18 Publix associate cafeterias and assist the Cafeteria Manager in the planning and execution of departmental strategies. This position assists with developing hourly associates, determining, implementing, and executing best practices, meeting objectives and goals, driving improvement, directing associates, ensuring a safe work environment for associates and reporting on operations to departmental leadership.

Minimum base pay: $23.20
Maximum base pay: $32.00
Potential annual base pay: $48,256 - $66,560
Year end bonus: To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.

- Night differential: A $.75 per hour night differential is paid to associates regularly scheduled to work any hours between midnight and 3:00 a.m. (this does not include shifts that end at midnight or begin at 3:00AM).
- Weekend differential: A $2.00 per hour weekend differential is paid to associates for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
