Primary Duties
- Assembling and disassembling equipment
- Dispensing and using chemicals safely
- Maintaining the chemical storage area
- Cleaning all production equipment
- Maintaining standard operating procedures at an exceptional level
- Ensuring the prevention of damage when cleaning equipment, including electrical wiring and control panels
- Applying various chemicals on different equipment as well as in environmental locations
- Operating and maintaining floor scrubbers
- Other duties as assigned

Sanitation Operator, AM, Bakery - Lakeland | Publix Super Markets, Inc.
The Sanitation Operator, AM, Bakery is responsible for:
Required qualifications include:
Hours of work: 3:00am - 1:30pm; rotating days.
Work environment: Temperatures ranging from 30 to 70+ degrees; wet and slippery.
Frequency of pay: Weekly.
Minimum base pay: $19.60
Maximum base pay: $27.05
Potential annual base pay: $40,768 - $56,264.
Year-end bonus: Rewards associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, with the bonus increasing over time.
Weekend differential: $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.

Required qualifications include:
- Being at least 18 years old
- Demonstrating excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Demonstrating safe working habits
- Being able to use industrial strength chemicals
- Understanding and demonstrating all Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
- Being able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently
- Being able to push or pull heavy equipment
- Having basic mechanical skills
- Being able to work in a wet and slippery environment
- Possessing general knowledge of machine operation
- Being able to bend/stoop/squat down
- Being able to learn and perform all positions
- Being able to use creative thinking for troubleshooting
- Being able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Having good human relations skills
- Being able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Having excellent attendance and punctuality
- Being willing to assist other team members in other areas
- Being able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
- Being able to work efficiently with little or no supervision
- Being able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Possessing basic math skills
