  • Providing training support to the manufacturing facility for the Job Instruction (JI) Training program
  • Promoting and maintaining training quality
  • Managing JI training documentation
  • Coordinating training
  • Assisting in the roll-out of other future operational training initiatives
  • Providing analytical and administrative support as assigned

Manufacturing Operations Training Coordinator - Lakeland

Industrial Operations

Providing training support to the manufacturing facility for the Job Instruction (JI) Training program.

Promoting and maintaining training quality including:
  • Training new managers and associates on the JI method for training and documentation
  • Monitoring/performing job audits to ensure accurate documentation

Managing JI training documentation including performing ongoing document maintenance for improvements to the processes and equipment changes ensuring documents are current.

Coordinating training including:
  • Tracking and reporting the status of training completion
  • Coordinating the JI portion of orientation for new associates
  • Monitoring training to ensure all training goals are met

Assisting in the roll-out of other future operational training initiatives.

Providing analytical and administrative support as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs (especially Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to take initiative and complete tasks independently.
Training and organizational skills.
Effective time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to understand regulatory requirements.
Willingness to work nights and weekends to meet the manufacturing business needs.

Associate's Degree in a business related field.

Work Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
This position requires some flexibility in work hours to support production activities and business needs. The role includes a combination of office and plant-based work.

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment, the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment, the bonus is equal to one week's pay if the associate remains employed through the issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.
