• Top 5 Accountabilities "You Are the Reason Why"

1. Food Safety Starts and Ends With You

As a Shift Lead, you set the standard. Complete the Food Safety Significant checklist, critical line temp chart, and enforce proper handwashing procedures every single shift - no skipping, no shortcuts. Your team is watching how you lead. Show them what Proud looks like.

2. Own the Guest Experience From the Front to the Back

Every guest who walks through that door deserves fast, friendly service and a 100% accurate order - and it's your job to make sure that happens. Hold your team accountable, jump in when needed, and never let a guest leave disappointed on your watch. You are the reason they come back.

3. Run Your Zones Like a Leader

It's not enough to know the Own Your Zone Cards - you have to drive execution across every position on your shift. Coach in the moment, correct with purpose, and make sure every zone is running at the standard Pacific Bells expects. Level Up your team by leading from the floor, not the sidelines.

4. Master Prep & Hold

• Protect the Product

Use the Prep Guide to manage prep and hold times during your shift. Waste costs the business. Running out costs the guest. Neither is acceptable. Know your numbers, plan ahead, and keep your kitchen running efficiently and safely all shift long.

5. Manage Labor Like You Own the Business

Deploy your team with intention. Adjust in real time based on business needs - when it gets busy, shift resources. When it slows down, make smart labor calls. Great labor management means your team isn't burnt out and the business stays profitable.
