The Accounting Analyst position drives impact through thoughtful partnership with Global Shared Service teams by ensuring accurate and timely period and quarterly accounting and reporting for the Pizza Hut Division. This role supports critical financial processes, fosters collaboration across international teams, and contributes to the integrity of Yum Brands' global financial reporting. The position will work with a broad group of people including global field finance teams and senior management.

Salary Range: $80,300 - $87,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Responsibilities
PH Division Period and Quarterly Reporting

• Coordinate with Global Shared Service teams to ensure that all required period reporting deliverables are delivered, providing guidance where necessary, and compile summary of Division results for Control and planning teams.
• Consolidate the market level balance submission and prepare PH Division's quarterly balance sheet reporting that is used for Yum Brand's quarterly SEC reporting. Review submission and follow up with market teams on questions and issues.
• Assist in the preparation of key quarterly deliverables such as unit counts and accounts receivable schedules that are included in the PH Division and YUM Brands CFO Close Decks.
• Prepare, review and record consolidation related journal entries for the PH division. Ensure that such entries are pushed down to the markets in subsequent quarters.

PH International Headquarters (HQ) G&A

• Executes period close and reporting activities for PH International HQ. Identify and resolve any accounting or other issues identified during close processes.
• Reconcile and/or approve reconciliation of multiple Balance Sheet Accounts.
• Analyze and reconcile PH HQ relocation and severance and monitor capital expenditure requests as provided by PH departments. Monitor fixed and intangible assets to ensure proper reporting.
• Ensure JD Edwards data is loaded accurately into HFM including validation and reconciliation of data.
• Prepare and submit period and quarterly reporting schedules and roll forwards in HFM for PH HQ.

Other accounting and reporting responsibilities

• Ad hoc special projects or additional responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• B.S. in Accounting or B.S. in Finance if candidate has significant accounting experience.
• 3+ years accounting experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience.
• In office, 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday).

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of intercompany accounting & foreign currency.
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), JDE, Blackline and Microsoft products.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Public accounting firm or public company corporate accounting experience.
• CPA or active CPA candidate.
