UPS is seeking an experienced Paint and Body Shop Technician with advanced skills in automotive collision repair and refinishing. This position is responsible for structural and non-structural body repairs, surface preparation, color matching, and application of high-performance commercial coatings across the UPS fleet. The technician will perform metal fabrication, panel replacement, frame alignment, sanding, priming, and finish paint operations in accordance with UPS maintenance standards. The role also includes executing specialized fabrication and refinishing projects for vehicles designated for promotional, display, or public relations use.
Responsibilities and Duties
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is $27.64 with a one-year progression to TOP PAY $34.55 per hour. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions. Hired applicants are eligible for weekly pay, extensive training, 401(K), defined-benefit pension plan, medical-dental and vision after waiting and or probation period, $0 healthcare premium, paid vacation, paid sick and family and medical leave time as required by law, paid holidays, discounted employee stock purchase program.

- Repairs doors, latches, and other trim
- Sands, preps and paints delivery vehicles
- Details and applies decals to finish painting jobs
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license issued by the state
- Must have standard tools
- Must have a minimum of 3 years body and paint experience
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday
- Must be able to work 1st shift hours (6am - 8am starting time)
- Collision repair
