The Apps team is in search of a high-energy and ambitious Engineering Project Manager. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering new features for some of Apple's most popular applications.
We are looking for someone detail-oriented, passionate about communication, who takes ownership and is committed to driving consistency across programs. Our team combines strong technical skills, product vision, and a love of all things project management to bring together the pieces needed to deliver an extraordinary user experience with Apple software products.
ResponsibilitiesWork with other project managers across the organizations to align reporting on progress and risks.
Schedule and facilitate meetings, including taking notes.
Be hands-on in program requirements, providing guidance across teams on processes, including creation of templates for program status and reviews, and best practices.
Build relationships to achieve results.
Minimum Qualifications5
• years of experience in Engineering Project Management delivering software and services through a full project lifecycle.
Bachelor's degree required in Technical Writing/Communication, Professional Writing, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience.
Expert in Confluence, Keynote, Numbers, and other productivity tools for creating, managing, and effectively communicating across programs and teams.
Enjoy communications challenges and have the ability to work with various teams, building and managing relationships to navigate reporting requirements.
Versatile problem solver, equipped with a strong analytical approach to various challenges in complex environments. Adept at creative and critical thinking, able to deconstruct problems, resolve conflicts and lead the teams to solutions.
Self starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and a technical orientation.
Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to filter and distill meaningful information to the right audience.
Refined and precise written and verbal communication.
You are someone who appreciates and enjoys tackling the challenges associated with creating broad, effective communication to diverse audiences.
Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree required in Technical Writing/Communication, Professional Writing, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience.
Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses including tuition.
