QA Test Automation Engineer

Networking group develops control plane and data plane Networking stacks for Apple's innovative products including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod, and Mac OS. Leveraging adaptive machine learning techniques, this group continuously enhances the user's Network connectivity experience.

The Networking Quality Assurance (QA) team is looking for a passionate software quality engineer to join us to develop and automate tests and work on performance characterization tests. We are looking for a highly motivated engineer who has an aptitude to debug complex and layered software stacks. You will be self-motivated and will design and develop analysis and visualization software tools to improvise screening process efficiency. You will collaborate with multiple teams and thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Qualifications:
- Have experience developing scripts and tools
- Experience debugging problems in a highly concurrent environment
- Have familiarity with the TCP/IP suite of protocols
- Familiarity with network configuration protocols (e.g. DNS, DHCP, Bonjour, etc.)
- Track record of shipping high quality products
- Ability to stay focused and prioritize a heavy workload while achieving extraordinary quality
- System performance characterization a plus
- Innovative, flexible, and results-oriented with a positive attitude

Education:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proven track record of defining and leading large scale quality initiatives of networking products.
- Strong programming skills with Python, C/C++
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with multi-functional engineering teams.
