Summary

The SWE team is looking for an individual with strong OS fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a desire to join an amazing team who ships OS' that drive Apple Products. We are looking for people who enjoy designing solutions to solve problems and have an appetite for continuous improvement.

Description
Coordinate cross-functional teams and deliverables and gather requirements for shipping OS software. Provide detailed status updates to partner teams on upcoming releases. Work with engineering teams to prioritize deliverables for upcoming releases and to triage issues. Manage projects aimed at enhancing the release process. Own the responsibility of delivering beta software for Mac, iPhone, iPad, HomePod, Apple TV, Apple Watch and Apple Vision Pro to customers and developers. This job requires project management skills with a passion for software deployment. Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with other organizations is a must. This is a great opportunity for a project manager that is also very interested in the technology or a release engineer who is highly organized and wants to help drive and deliver software.

Minimum Qualifications
BS/MS EE/CS/CE or equivalent
3-5+ years experience as a Project or Program Manager

Preferred Qualifications
Build and Release Engineering/Release Management experience highly desirable
Project management experience in software development life cycle highly desirable
Unix programming/scripting experience highly desirable
Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
Proven track record of defining processes and executing on them

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $213,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
