Description
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of bringing Siri with Apple Intelligence to our entire ecosystem of devices. This is a technically challenging opportunity that will grow your software development skills while you help us build exciting spoken and visual experiences for millions of customers worldwide. You'll design and build intelligent assistant features across Apple's software platforms, tackling complex AI/ML challenges, shaping architectural decisions, and optimizing performance. Working hands-on as part of new product development, you'll help create the next-generation Siri experiences that make our powerful technologies feel natural and intuitive. You'll collaborate closely with system architects, designers, ML engineers, app teams, and QA partners to ensure Siri delivers seamless, intelligent experiences that delight users. As a technical leader and contributor, you'll drive significant feature initiatives and projects from concept to release, making architectural decisions that impact the broader Siri ecosystem. You'll work hand-in-hand with engineering colleagues across Apple, building new features, learning from our engineering leads, mentoring team members, and sharing your insights to elevate the team's engineering practices. You'll partner with talented colleagues from across the company to bring innovative ideas to life. - Exceptional development experience at the application or library level with Objective-C and/or Swift.
- Strong understanding of software engineering and computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; we are a highly collaborative work environment
- Track record of developing products with a focus on delivering an exceptional user experience.
- Experience working on large, cross-functional, and multi-team projects.
- Experience with voice assistant technologies, GenAI, or conversational AI systems
