We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategic expansion and evolution of our In-App Purchase (IAP) platform's capabilities to support emerging and new business models. This role is critical in ensuring developers can successfully monetize their digital goods and services through our ecosystem, supporting new business opportunities and markets. The ideal candidate will combine deep product management expertise with a nuanced understanding of digital commerce, developer needs, two-sided marketplaces, and emerging monetization trends.
DescriptionYou will own and drive the comprehensive roadmap for expanding IAP's SKU types, business models, and packaging options to meet evolving developer and market needs. This role will lead cross-functional commerce initiatives from the initial presentation to leadership to launch. By conducting ongoing analysis of market trends, competitive platforms, and emerging monetization models this product manager will expand App Store IAP monetization, ensuring that developers have the right business models and offerings to grow their business within the Apple ecosystem.
Minimum Qualifications7
• years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on commerce, mobile, or platform products focused on B2B2C
Preferred QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority
Deep understanding of digital commerce trends, including subscription models, virtual currencies, and emerging payment methods
Proven track record of launching complex, technical products that balance multiple stakeholder needs
Has delivered features to market which have seen broad adoption
Strong understanding of the developer ecosystem and how apps are monetized
Ability to champion a product vision that balances user experience with business goals
Understands how to balance competing priorities while still advancing their product
Strategic thinking balanced with attention to operational details and execution excellence
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
