Engineering Project Manager (SAP Payments & Trade In), IS&T Enterprise Systems

Our SAP team is part of the global Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization. We build systems that support customer ordering, fulfillment and service of Apple products. We work with multiple Apple business functions including Retail, Operations, Finance and AppleCare. We need a self-directed and motivated team mate who has the skill to own and drive initiatives related to the SAP SD Order-To-Cash business processes.

Description

The successful candidate will work closely across regions with business and technical teams delivering complex projects in Apple's fast-paced environment. The role includes responsibility for all aspects of a project, including:

• Supporting the business during requirements definition to document the detailed needs of each project.
• Performing functional gap analysis and ensuring project scope is clearly defined.
• Propose appropriate designs to meet the business requirements.
• Collaborating on project plans, deliverables, dependencies and risks.
• Writing technical specifications and co-ordinating with technical teams on the development.
• Presenting the solution for design reviews and business playbacks.
• Supporting technical teams in designing and executing performance tests.
• Ensuring adequate test cycles are defined and executed to support production launch.
• Status reporting within the team and to management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Co-ordinating cutover and implementation activities across business and technical teams.
• Resolving production issues and managing scope changes.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years experience implementing and enhancing SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) functionality.
• 2 years Order-To-Cash business process knowledge.
• 2 years experience in delivering SAP-based solutions within scope and timeline.
• 2 years with testing and debugging with SAP ABAP, Java or similar programming languages.
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years experience with SAP iDoc integration, SD user exits, Z tables, interfaces and output management.
• Knowledge of SAP enterprise structure, sales documents, deliveries, billing, pricing and customer communications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience integrating SAP with e-Commerce and Point of Sale systems.
• Payments processing experience, including credit cards, loans, wire transfer and wallet payments.
• Project management experience working with global teams across time zones.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Ability to articulate complex ideas to business stakeholders and IS&T teams in an easy-to-understand way.
• Experience with S/4 HANA, cloud technologies, UI5 or SAP BTP.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $213,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
