Engineering Program Manager, SWE Factory Bring Up

The SWE Factory EPM team is looking for an engineering program manager with strong OS fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work with an amazing team. This is a highly cross-functional role and will involve working with our Hardware, Software, and Operations teams to track and manage the delivery of Software to the factory lines for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, WATCH, Apple TV, and Vision Pro product lines. A great opportunity for a program manager who is also very interested in technology and wants to help drive and deliver high-quality software to the factories.

You will drive the software deliverables to the factories during various hardware builds starting with the development phase to mass production. Drive technical discussions with engineering teams to identify solutions for software that impact hardware. Provide timely communications to factories about future release schedules and coordinate control runs to ensure smooth roll-out. Identify and highlight risks, work on mitigations, and drive for alignment with all stakeholders across Software and Hardware orgs. Communicate and present the plan in various forms to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience project managing complex, multi-functional projects.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Software and Hardware product lifecycle.
  • BS/MS EE/CS/CE or relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to drive multiple programs, prioritize and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to quickly establish and manage cross-functional relationships.
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking.
  • Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking.
  • Knowledge of Software and Hardware product lifecycle.
  • Experience in consumer electronics factory line.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,600 and $263,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
