Tools And Automation Engineer
Join the Health Study QE team and help enable research into the next generation of health sensing features. In this role, you will focus on testing application software that collects a wide range of health and sensor data, working directly with technologies like ECG and PPG-based heart rate sensing, as well as novel investigative prototype sensors.
Your testing will span macOS, iOS, and watchOS applications that drive unique user experiences, interface with firmware and low-level software drivers, and provide critical data to processing pipelines. We are looking for a highly motivated engineer who independently drives bugs to closure, collaborates seamlessly with developers to resolve issues, and effectively navigates technical discussions with fellow Quality Engineers, development partners, and program managers.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,300 and $213,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. - Experience software or application testing with Python and test automation experience
- Experience with Swift programming and developing iOS test automation with Xcode UI automation framework
