Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain native application features in Swift and SwiftUI across macOS, iOS, and iPadOS
- Own features end-to-end: from requirements and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration
- Build features that leverage AI and platform services to enhance usability surfacing intelligence contextually and reducing manual effort
- Integrate with system frameworks (App Intents, Shortcuts, extensions) to create connected, interoperable experiences
- Write thorough automated tests (unit, integration, UI) and contribute to a culture of engineering quality
- Conduct and participate in code reviews; provide and receive constructive technical feedback
- Partner with designers and product managers to translate requirements into polished, accessible solutions
- Diagnose, debug, and resolve production issues; contribute to post-incident learnings
- Maintain clear technical documentation for systems, APIs, and design decisions

Required
Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, with demonstrated experience shipping production applications on macOS, iOS, or iPadOS. Experience with RESTful API integration and client-side data architecture.

Preferred Qualifications
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices and inclusive design on Apple platforms
- Strong understanding of Apple platform frameworks (Combine, Swift Concurrency, SwiftData or Core Data)
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications (Core ML, Foundation Models framework, or LLM APIs)
- Familiarity with App Intents, Shortcuts, WidgetKit, or other platform interoperability frameworks
- Experience building localised applications for a global user base
- Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and automated testing practices for Apple platforms
- Experience working within enterprise or internal platform environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across time zones
