Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Forecast demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell through generating weekly and quarterly supply plans that meet Apple's financial objectives
- Evaluate risks, plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate
- Analyze product sales on a daily basis
- Identify opportunities and driving partner groups to appropriate action
- Coordinate closely with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements
- Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities of new product introductions and to ensure smooth product transitions
- Partner with the global procurement teams to allocate constrained components
- Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process, marshal resources, and drive projects to completion

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Forecast demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell through generating weekly and quarterly supply plans that meet Apple's financial objectives. Evaluate risks, plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate. Analyze product sales on a daily basis. Identify opportunities and driving partner groups to appropriate action. Coordinate closely with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements. Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities of new product introductions and to ensure smooth product transitions. Partner with the global procurement teams to allocate constrained components, ensuring raw material inventory targets are met, and minimizing material obsolescence during product transition and presenting product updates and recommended actions to Operations executive management team on a weekly basis. Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process, marshal resources, and drive projects to completion. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,200 - $249,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. PAY & BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Minimum Qualifications- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, International Business, Operations Research, Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Experience and/or education must include:
- Performing Advanced Quantitative Modeling utilizing Excel for calculating business decisions
- Analyzing large data sets to actualize past operations, assess results, and plan for future requirements
- Developing plans for strategic resources to optimize customer satisfaction while also considering financial goals and minimizing operational complexity
- Performing Scenario Analysis and Risk Management, analyzing expected outcomes of different business decisions and recommending actions to minimize business losses
- Presenting business status, risks and recommended solutions to managers and executives
- Quantifying financial implications of business decisions, such as those involving capital expenditures
- Coordinating with multiple internal groups/teams to manage business operations and collaborate on decision making
- Managing projects or devising new processes to improve business planning operations
