Brand Strategy Lead, Marcom

The Marcom Brand Strategy Lead plays a critical role in developing and driving marketing plans in support of Apple's business goals. This person will be instrumental in how Apple communicates key product stories to its customers today and years to come.

Responsibilities
  • Develop creative briefs and brand positioning that inspire campaign development, act as a north star for the business, and galvanize cross-functional teams behind a singular idea.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across brand, creative, media, channel, etc., to develop modern and bespoke go-to-market strategies.
  • Synthesize and translate data into actionable, compelling insights to inform strategic points of view.
  • Build relationships and demonstrate influence with diverse and senior stakeholders.
  • Become an expert on the business, category, audience, and culture surrounding the line of business you would lead.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years in brand strategy roles with global brands within a large creative agency or internal, multi-channel marketing team.
  • Experience working with cross-functional creatives who span functional groups advertising, interactive, print, retail, etc.
  • Global experience someone who has worked extensively on global-reaching brands.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extraordinary storyteller with strong written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated in samples of creative briefs or case studies.
  • Highly skilled in business and creative strategy, consumer insights and research, leveraging data and analytics, and communications planning.
  • Deep understanding of and extensive experience in marketing strategy and brand communications.
  • Able to write tight, persuasive strategies that can galvanize large cross-functional creative teams behind a singular, focused idea.
  • Creative and imaginative problem solver; ability to not just optimize, but innovate.
  • Strong track record of partnering with and leading strategic conversations across functions, both within and beyond the Marketing org.
  • Keen sense of culture, creativity, and innovation.
  • A provocative problem solver. Someone not scared to question the status quo, to push thinking in new directions.
  • Proficiency in Keynote with excellent presentation skills. A persuasive, trusted voice in meetings.
Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $186,300 and $280,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
