Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Execute content optimization strategies for assigned product lines or business areas, following established SEO frameworks and best practices.
- Manage on-page optimization including metadata, content structure, and internal linking for your product categories.
- Conduct keyword research and content gap analyses to identify opportunities and prioritize content development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with SEO best practices and supports product launches.
- Support AI optimization initiatives by implementing semantic optimizations for assigned areas.
- Create content briefs and specifications that translate SEO requirements into actionable guidance for content teams.
- Monitor and report on content performance using search analytics and user behavior data; recommend optimizations and contribute to testing plans.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Marketing, and Design teams, and share knowledge with team members on content SEO topics.

As a SEO Program Manager focused on content, you'll shape how millions of people discover Apple across the world's most influential search platforms, traditional and AI-powered alike. You'll own content optimization strategy across multiple product lines, bringing together data, creativity, and cross-functional influence to ensure Apple's digital presence is as compelling as our products. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,600 and $171,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a focus on content optimization.
- Has independently managed content optimization for a defined product area or business segment.
- Has conducted keyword research and content gap analyses that directly informed content production or optimization.
- Has monitored and reported on content performance using search analytics tools, translating data into actionable recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience optimizing content for AI-powered search surfaces (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity).
- Experience working on a product or brand with a global web presence, or across multiple markets, locales, or languages.
- Experience collaborating with content, merchandising, or product marketing teams within a product launch or campaign.
- Proficiency in SEO / AIO tools such as Google Search Console, Profound, seoClarity, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
