Engineering Project Manager, Enterprise Technology ServicesJoin our Identity Management Services team as a Product Manager shaping the future of enterprise access management at Apple. You'll own the strategy, roadmap, and vision for access management products and platformsensuring the right people have the right access to the right resources at the right time, at massive scale.

This role sits at the intersection of security and user experience, tackling challenges like enterprise role management, access governance, and privilege management. You'll define how Apple employees and partners securely access critical systems while maintaining a seamless experience. Your decisions will directly shape how we protect Apple's most valuable assets while empowering people to do their best work.

Access Management Strategy & Vision

Define and drive the product roadmap for enterprise access management capabilities

Lead strategic initiatives around access governance, least-privilege access, and risk-based authentication

Shape the evolution of access policies, including conditional access, just-in-time (JIT) provisioning, and adaptive MFA

Product Ownership & Execution

Own end-to-end product lifecycle for access management solutionsfrom discovery through launch and iteration

Partner with security, engineering, and architecture teams to design scalable access control frameworks (RBAC, ABAC, policy-based access)

Define requirements for access governance capabilities: access reviews, certification campaigns, entitlement management, and segregation of duties (SoD)

Drive privileged access management (PAM) initiatives to secure high-risk accounts and credentials

Cross-Functional Leadership

Collaborate with platform teams on SSO, federation, and directory services integration

Work with compliance and audit teams to ensure access management solutions meet regulatory requirements

Translate complex access management challenges into clear product requirements and user stories

• years in Product/Program Management with a significant focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM), including hands-on ownership of access governance, lifecycle management, and privileged access (PAM).

Deep IAM Technical Expertise strong working knowledge of authorization models (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC), authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, FIDO2/WebAuthn), and Zero Trust architecture principles.

Cloud IAM & Compliance Fluency experience with cloud identity platforms (AWS IAM, Azure AD, GCP IAM) and familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing access management (GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CCPA).

Modern Architecture & Identity Standards Proficiency understanding of APIs, microservices, and identity standards (SCIM, LDAP, Directory Services), with the ability to collaborate effectively with security and engineering teams.

AI/ML Awareness in Access & Security Contexts ability to apply Gen AI and data science tools to shape access and authorization strategies across hybrid AI and traditional systems.

Executive-Level Communication & Roadmap Storytelling demonstrated ability to communicate product roadmaps, trade-offs, and strategic recommendations clearly to leadership and stakeholders at all levels, including non-technical executives.

Data-Driven Product Improvement experience analyzing access patterns, authentication metrics, and security signals to surface opportunities, and a track record of driving post-incident reviews that feed directly into product roadmap improvements.

Industry Engagement & Trend Integration active participation in identity, access, and security industry forums, with a demonstrated ability to translate emerging trends and standards into actionable product direction.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $203,300 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
