R&D Technical Artist

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Build highly interactive and graphically intense applications for some of Apple's most advanced technologies, including the augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) support offered in ARKit and Metal2. Work alongside product designers and engineers on new applications demanding rapid experimentation and prototyping. Understand the state-of-the-art in real-time graphics and interactive 3D applications to help create prototypes for a broad range of application categories, including productivity, communication, and entertainment. Encapsulate the current POR and technological decision points and visually communicate them upwards within the team to leadership for critical program steering decisions.

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 - $258,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Pay & Benefits: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
