Full Job Description
Come join Apple's Mac Hardware EPM team! We are responsible for the planning and execution of system builds and driving system board/flex design releases from first prototype through engineering design validation. Our team is looking for someone who can lead complex hardware builds down to the details, drive board design release schedules, and handle the resolution of technical build blockers by working with multiple internal and external teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of prototype builds, including materials planning and factory readiness. You will need to establish daily build schedules and distribution plans to support the overall project plan for builds globally. You will also partner closely with multiple teams across Apple to understand key design changes requiring validation to accurately integrate engineering validation needs into the system build matrix. You will drive development timelines for new boards and flexes, lead the internal review process and release to vendors, and be the primary point of contact for our contract manufacturers and worldwide team members by providing clear direction on requests to the factory.

Minimum Qualifications
- BS degree in Engineering required, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- A proven track record in hardware engineering or operations program management with experience in effectively handling factory builds and working with vendors
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to handle complex build matrices and micro schedules
- Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
- Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant change; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty
- Ability to support international travel for factory builds
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,306 and $213,700 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
