Description
We are seeking a skilled Release Engineer with a strong background in coding and automation to support and streamline our release processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Go and Python, and is highly proficient in Jenkins and Harness for CI/CD pipeline management. This role requires someone who can collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable releases.

- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or Build/CI roles
- Programming experience with Go or Python
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts, Git workflows, and branching strategies
- Experience with Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Shell, Groovy)
- 5+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or Build/CI roles
- Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and quality gates
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in Jenkins pipeline creation, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Exposure to artifact management tools (Artifactory, Nexus)
- Understanding of observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk) to monitor release pipelines
- Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD (secrets management, signing, vulnerability scanning)
- Experience with feature flagging systems or progressive delivery (Argo Rollouts)
- Exposure to AI-driven automation in release pipelines (test automation, anomaly detection, self-healing)
- Hands-on experience with Harness for automated deployments and governance
- Expert in CI/CD concepts, Git workflows, and branching strategies
- Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration basics (Kubernetes)
- Ability to troubleshoot build, deployment, and release issues across environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
