Display Electrical Design Engineer
We are looking for an electrical engineer to design and integrate state of the art display technologies into Apple products.
Description
In this rare position, you will have a high-visibility role to deliver the world's best front-of-screen experience on small form factor Apple products. You will design, prototype, and validate display hardware, integrate systems, and support new products ramping to mass production.
Responsibilities
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $190,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses including tuition. - Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree
- Hands-on lab experience including data acquisition and automation using test equipment
- Experience with PCB design and layout, including analysis and design enhancement for SI/PI/crosstalk
- Confirmed excellence in at least one electrical engineering discipline: Power electronics, RF/wireless, IC design, semiconductors, FPGAs, TFTs
- Strong python and Matlab scripting skill
- Experience in display technology, such as LCD, OLED, plasma, DLP, LCOS, e-paper, etc.
