Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Support logistics service delivery for internal infrastructure teams and retail partners, including coordinating pickup/drop-offs, deliveries, and documentation
- Manage consumable inventory associated with LPS activities; perform cycle counts and maintain data accuracy through system tools and physical validation
- Receive, stage, and transfer material between internal groups and service areas in support of ongoing engineering or infrastructure work
- Track service tickets and update task status using internal logistics systems and productivity tools
- Monitor daily task completion and escalate issues or service delays to appropriate team leads or managers
- Train and onboard support-level or contractor personnel in LPS processes, service standards, and safety guidelines
- Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions related to LPS workflows
- Participate in audit readiness efforts and contribute to inventory and logistics reporting when applicable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure logistics services are delivered effectively and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized service staging environment in alignment with Apple safety protocols

Infrastructure Services is part of IS&T and the foundation of Apple's global network operations managing data center equipment and systems to deliver compute, storage, and networking services for teams across Apple, including its internal developer community. From individual facilities to a worldwide network, Infrastructure Services ensures the technology underneath everything works without question. As part of the Data Center Operations team, the Logistics Professional Services (LPS) Specialist provides logistics support to internal engineering teams, retail partners, and other non-operational groups across Apple's global data center footprint.
This role focuses on executing logistics service requests, managing consumable inventory, supporting team documentation, and providing hands-on support for logistics-related needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to grow within a professional logistics career path.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or General Studies with relevant coursework; or equivalent job related experience.
- Knowledge of basic safety standards and warehouse procedures
- Experience in warehousing, inventory control, supply chain, logistics or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist high
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems
- Experience with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) documentation and operator requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow established procedures and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Foundational understanding of inventory tracking systems or ERP tools
- Familiarity with cycle counting, bin management, or basic inventory concepts
