Raw Pack Off Clerk
The Raw Pack Off Clerk is responsible for operation in production of frozen meat patties and maintaining proper pace and flow of line production. Ensures that packages of product are properly bagged and sealed.
Job Duties:

• Operates equipment ("Burford") using touch screen and places twist ties on plastic bags of preformed frozen meat patties.
• Operates equipment ("CABS") that directs patties to various lines for automated bagger.
• Operates conveyor belt (via power buttons) that move product through the twist tie equipment and automated bagger.
• Ensures that the production line operates properly, communicates with other staff, and responds to equipment malfunction as needed.
• Changes spool of twist tie wire; lifts spool into place manually.
• Weighs bag of frozen meat patties on scale to confirm accuracy of product weight and printed production information; removes twist tie and transfers meat patties to new bag for processing as needed.
• Pushes carts with equipment, Burford, conveyor belts, and various supplies to the production line or to the mechanical lift for placement on elevated work level; returns all equipment to storage area as assigned.
• Wipe down all equipment and sanitize surfaces as needed.
• Repacks meat products as needed by removing product from bags, temporarily storing in tub, and manually transferring to appropriate containers.
• Performs housekeeping duties, including throwing out trash and sweeping up fallen products.
• Uses a manual pallet jack to move pallets of empty storage boxes.
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
• Assists with department duties as necessary.
• Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
