Your Mission:
The Senior QA Automation Engineer is a senior technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation solutions that improve software quality, accelerate delivery, and increase release confidence across Retail Technology applications.
This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Quality Assurance teams to implement modern automation practices, integrate quality throughout the software development lifecycle, and support continuous testing across web, mobile, API, integration, and performance testing domains.

Your Mission:
The Senior QA Automation Engineer is a senior technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation solutions that improve software quality, accelerate delivery, and increase release confidence across Retail Technology applications.
This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Quality Assurance teams to implement modern automation practices, integrate quality throughout the software development lifecycle, and support continuous testing across web, mobile, API, integration, and performance testing domains.
What You'll Do:
Automation Engineering:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Appium, and related automation technologies.
- Create and maintain automated tests across web, mobile, API, integration, and end-to-end testing domains.
- Develop reusable automation assets, utilities, libraries, and testing patterns that improve efficiency and maintainability.
- Implement automation standards and best practices that support reliable and scalable test execution.
- Develop automation for Little Caesars digital experiences, including web ordering, mobile apps, APIs, payments, store systems, and omnichannel integrations.
- Support release validation for menu, pricing, promotions, loyalty, commerce, payment, and operational platform capabilities.
Continuous Quality, CI/CD & Performance:
- Integrate automated testing, API validation, and performance testing into Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement automated quality gates that improve release readiness and deployment confidence.
- Improve automation execution reliability, test stability, and reporting capabilities.
- Develop and execute performance testing solutions using K6 and related performance testing tools.
- Analyze performance results and collaborate with engineering teams to identify quality and scalability risks.
API, Integration & Quality Engineering:
- Develop and maintain automated API validation, integration, and service-level test suites.
- Validate service contracts, integrations, and data flows across critical business applications.
- Support test data creation, management, and validation strategies.
- Mentor QA Engineers on automation frameworks, tool usage, and engineering best practices.
- Contribute recommendations for automation improvements, framework enhancements, and quality engineering maturity.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of software quality engineering experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on automation engineering experience.
- Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks and scalable test suites in enterprise-level delivery environments.
- Experience mentoring team members and promoting automation adoption across teams.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience developing automation solutions using Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience building automation solutions using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience automating REST API testing, service validation, and integration testing using automated frameworks and industry-standard tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, SDLC practices, test reporting, quality metrics, and automation execution analytics.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Experience with K6 performance test scripting, execution, and result analysis.
- Experience integrating automated testing within Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git source control, modern branching strategies, SQL, data validation, cloud-hosted applications, and distributed systems.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development or testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, or AI-enabled testing solutions.
- Experience supporting retail, eCommerce, point-of-sale (POS), payment, loyalty, or omnichannel platforms.
- Experience with containerized or cloud-native environments.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent industry certification.
- Exposure to Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), agent-based workflows, or AI-enabled testing concepts.
- Experience evaluating emerging test automation and quality engineering technologies.
