Assistant ManagerAs part of the Subway team, you will focus on seven main things:

Providing an excellent guest experience

Ensuring that great food is prepared and served

Keeping our restaurants functional, clean, and beautiful

Controlling inventory

Scheduling and supervising staff

In addition to the role of a shift manager, key parts of your day-to-day will consist of:

Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work

  • Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in the restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
  • Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

    Prerequisites

    Education

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Experience

    Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

    Essential functions

    Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

    Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized point of sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday.

  • Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
