Join Our Subway Leadership Team In Hanover (Newark, Oh)
We're looking for an experienced, dependable leader who's ready to take ownership of daily operations and help grow a team that takes pride in serving our community. As a Manager, you'll ensure that our guests enjoy a consistently excellent experience while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and teamwork.

As part of the Subway team, you as a Manager will focus on eight main things:
  • Providing an excellent guest experience
  • Ensuring that great food is prepared & served
  • Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful
  • Managing inventory and money control systems
  • Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach
  • Recruiting staff
  • Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security

In addition to the role of a Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:
  • Recruiting and rewarding outstanding team members
  • Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes
  • Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
  • Identifying and contacting prospective guests to promote sales
  • Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
  • Planning special events and promotions

Prerequisites:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.

Essential functions:
Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential. Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized point of sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
