Responsibilities:
Performs basic preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and minor building maintenance to ensure safe and efficient building operations. Assists maintenance mechanics in routine troubleshooting and repairs. Major areas of responsibility:

• Performs basic preventative maintenance and routine repairs on various in-house systems to include conveyor, material handling equipment, tagging machines, storage equipment, vehicles, etc. Assists in troubleshooting and lubricates, adjusts and replaces parts.
• Performs maintenance services in two or more skill areas, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, heating, etc. May perform basic maintenance duties such as minor construction, landscaping, cleaning, etc.
• Assists maintenance mechanics in major equipment repairs, electrical repairs, and installations in accordance with established safety procedures. Requisitions new supplies and equipment as necessary.
• Performs special projects or duties as assigned.

This position has a starting pay range of $20.00 to $21.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
