What you'll do:
Our Accounting Department prepares and owns the financial statements, operational reporting, and is involved with ad hoc analysis/reporting for many areas of our business. While each group has their own area of expertise, they are all looked upon as leaders with vision, responsible for understanding and communicating the data that drives our organization and makes us a global leader.

As an Accounting Co-op, your responsibilities may include:

• Hands-on training to facilitate learning with guided mentorship
• Monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation activities
• Producing schedules and reporting that are leveraged to make informed business decisions
• Creating accurate financials and maintaining sound internal controls
• Collaborating with experienced financial professionals to ensure we are managing and executing assigned projects and results in a timely and efficient manner.
• Performing your own analysis projects
• Contributing to ongoing projects to be used in process improvements or enhanced analysis
• Working cross functionally within other areas of TJX, such as Store Operations, HR, Real Estate, and Marketing
• Creating presentations, reports, and communications for Senior Management

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for students who are highly motivated self-starters and who possess the ability to prioritize effectively, be proactive and flexible, and demonstrate a strong bias for action in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current juniors
• Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Genuine interest in a Corporate Accounting career
• Must be available to full-time from July December 2026

Additional qualifications include:

• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with numbers
• Ability to work in a team setting as well as individually
• A high level of curiosity
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Detail oriented
• Proficiency in Excel (i.e., pivot tables, charts, v-look up, etc.)

With our corporate office located in Framingham, MA, reliable transportation is required as TJX is not easily accessible to public transportation. A variable work schedule is part of the role based on the needs of the business.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.

This position has a starting pay range of $23.50 to $24.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
