About the Role
As a Scientist, you will play a critical role in enhancing the personalization AIML experience for millions of Rider app users worldwide. You will leverage your expertise in data science and analysis to measure & optimize our recommendation systems, ultimately improving user satisfaction and achieving business growth through one of the most impactful channels.

What You Will Do
- Define, build, and visualize appropriate metrics to measure user behavior and algorithm performance.
- Explainability and observability: make data easily discoverable, understandable and actionable via simulation tooling, dashboards, etc.
- Design, implement, and analyze experiments/quasi-experiments using appropriate statistical methodologies (basic and advanced).
- Design and build agentic AI to automate data science workflows
- Evangelize proactive insights that influence product or algorithm strategy (e.g. discovering trends, anomalies, and behavior patterns in our AIML systems).
Basic Qualifications
- Experience defining, building, and visualizing appropriate metrics to measure user behavior and algorithm performance.
- Technical depth in designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments/quasi-experiments using appropriate causal inference methodologies (basic and advanced).
- Interest and curiosity for using agentic AI to automate data science workflows
- Ability to evangelize proactive insights that influence product or algorithm strategy (e.g. discovering trends, anomalies, and behavior patterns in our AIML systems).

- Expertise in causal inference modeling
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
