Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and joyful patient experience.
- Responds to patient inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
- Connects with patients by responding to special needs and proactively offering services.
- Collaborates with providers to determine appropriateness of therapy.
- Educates patients on effective medication administration and expectations.
- Enrolls and follows patients through clinical management programs.
- Oversees the enrollment of patients with assistance programs.
- Ensures compliance of team members regarding documentation of patient management.
- Abides by all compliance policies.
- Works with the Pharmacy Manager toward the success of the pharmacy operation.
- Directs the operation of the store.
- Improves prescription numbers, pharmacy sales, profit, and image.
- Provides direction to ensure pharmacy department procedures comply with regulations.
- Controls the store's safe and 'bank.'
- Assures proper operation and maintenance of pharmacy department systems and equipment.

- Experience with client resolution and exposure to Specialty Pharmacy.
- Experience supervising or staffing of local specialty pharmacies.
- At least 2 years of experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expense and capital budgets.
- At least 2 years of experience directly managing people.
