As a Software Engineer III, you will contribute to the design and development of scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and delivering high-quality code aligned with business requirements.
You will manage project tasks, support continuous integration and deployment, and provide technical guidance to small engineering groups. The position demands strong problem-solving skills, adherence to coding standards, and a commitment to delivering sustainable, secure, and efficient software components within established timelines.
The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.$0 - $234,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
Role SummaryThis role involves:
Collaborating with product, project, business, and user experience teams to develop high-level designs for small to medium projects.
Analyzing and troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis and developing effective solutions.
Translating project requirements into technical solutions, conducting coding, unit testing, and ensuring timely delivery.
Supporting business users by providing technical guidance and resolving implementation concerns.
Mentoring and guiding small engineering teams, including offshore associates, to meet project objectives.
Implementing automation scripts and telemetry features to enhance continuous integration and delivery processes.
Monitoring application performance, conducting maintenance, and evaluating change requests for feasibility.
What You'll BringProven expertise in object-oriented programming and software design principles. Experience with API design, platform development, and component services. Strong skills in debugging, testing, and continuous integration/deployment practices. Ability to deliver scoped features through iterative and incremental development. Technical acumen in emerging technologies including generative artificial intelligence. Proficiency in documentation-based coding and maintaining code quality standards. Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into sustainable technical solutions. Knowledge of telemetry implementation and software security standards.
Minimum QualificationsOption 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area.
