Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Support the Visual Presentation Phases of Work for all floorsets for designated departments.
- Account for space planning, fixtures, and store tactics into presentation builds (physical and virtual), Photoshopping, & document creation.
- Determine product placement in stores by implementing effective presentations and shopping experiences to increase traffic, drive sales, and foster customer satisfaction.
- Produce work that resonates with our teams, follows our Visual Merchandising guidelines, and continues to raise the bar for our brand.
- Oversee the in-season presentation execution in stores to react to product sell through, inventory levels, out-of-stocks and spatial constraints to drive operational consistency across the fleet.
- Manage, update, & evolve our store prototype documentation and SketchUp files as additional stores are added to our fleet.
- Adhere to timeline and process while supporting visual reviews with cross-functional partners and visual leadership for sign-off.
- Engage in creative conversations with peers and partners (including Curated Merchandising, Planning/Allocation, Customer Experience, and Store Operations), embracing new ideas and approaches, while contributing thought-partnership to the team.
- Develop the approach to styling and architectural installation elements of vignettes.
- Identify signage, fixture accessories, props, & creative materials for integrated displays.
- Support new store openings across the country.
- Keep abreast of industry and market trends that will inform presentations and keep Wayfair competitive and relevant in the ever-evolving retail landscape.

Wayfair Visual Merchandising Coordinator
Wayfair's Physical Retail team is seeking an experienced Visual Merchandising Coordinator to support scaling our flagship brand's stores across North America. This role is an integral part of the Wayfair Home Office Visual Presentation Team, which develops and implements in-store presentations for seasonal floorsets, department refreshes, and new store openings. Our team's work includes creating concepts, building scalable physical and virtual presentations, operationalizing those presentations via Planogram, and creating store-facing Floorset Directives. As our retail store fleet grows, this role will coordinate an increasing number of assets for multiple departments across Wayfair Stores.
The ideal candidate has a track record of success in multi-store physical retail visual presentation, demonstrates an ability to confidently conduct and improve existing processes, influences cross-functional teams to meet deadlines, and collaborates toward a common goal. The ability to work both in-store and in the corporate environment will be required to translate visual strategies into successful execution.

What You'll Need:
- Physical Retail experience required, with a Portfolio of work which includes Home categories preferred.
- Experience that spans stores and the corporate office preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, SketchUp, and G-suite software.
- Be an active contributor, an organized team player, and produce high-quality work when time is tight and stakes are high.
- Ability to confidently conduct and improve existing processes and comfortability work in both store and corporate environments.
- Thrives in an ambiguous, high-growth environment.
