Education

Current Sophomore or Junior student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Economics, Management) with the expectation that degree will be obtained between Winter 2027 and Spring 2029.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties

  • Communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities to management both within and outside your immediate line of reporting
  • Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams across Operations
  • Monitor key performance indicators and work collaboratively to improve the quality of our logistics and supply chain operation
  • Create and deliver communication plans with external partners including suppliers, logistics, Wayfair's proprietary freight forwarding service (CastleGate Forwarding), and external 3rd party logistics companies (3PL)
  • Assist team in day to day operations and find ways to improve process efficiency

Operations Associate Co-op
Program Dates: January 4, 2027 - June 18, 2027 Boston, MA
Base Pay: $23 per hour
Work Schedule: 4 days in office (Monday - Thursday) and 1 day remote (Friday)

Wayfair's Operations organization is revolutionizing the customer experience through the development of a proprietary logistics network and optimization platform that manages the end-to-end supply chain, from overseas production to the customer's front door. What You'll Need:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Current Sophomore or Junior student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Economics, Management) with the expectation that degree will be obtained between Winter 2027 and Spring 2029
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the Co-op
  • Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from January 4 to June 18, 2027 in our Boston office
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Visa sponsorship includes the following work visas: STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
