The Wayfair Transportation & Delivery team works to provide fast, reliable, and convenient delivery options for all things home. Transportation Execution brings that mission to life by building and executing repeatable, scalable processes as goods move from suppliers to customers.

We are seeking a Transportation Execution Manager to lead day-to-day transportation execution for our Lancaster, TX operation. This leader will own site-level performance, manage and develop a team, build strong partnerships with Fulfillment Center and carrier stakeholders, and translate operational insights into sustained improvements.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, data-informed people leader who can balance immediate execution with longer-term process improvement. This role is primarily based in person at the Lancaster operation during core working hours, with travel to other sites or adjacent nodes as needed.

• Own transportation execution KPIs across the Lancaster, Jacksonville, and Greensboro sites; identify root causes and drive performance improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site team through training, SOP adherence, performance management, and staffing partnership.
• Build strong working relationships with site leaders, carriers, and cross-functional teams at each location to resolve issues and improve execution.
• Serve as the first escalation point for carrier and Fulfillment Center issues, escalating to regional leadership when appropriate.
• Communicate process changes, surface operational insights, and lead continuous-improvement efforts across the sites.
• Partner with other managers on outage coverage and make data-driven decisions on staffing, overtime, and priorities across the network.
• Work primarily in person at Lancaster, with approximately monthly travel to spend time with associates at other sites and additional travel as needed to support underperforming locations.

• 8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, or related operations; or 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams across multiple sites in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ownership, sound judgment, and an entrepreneurial approach to process improvement.
• Ability to balance standard work with site-specific needs and maintain strong process adherence.
• Experience using Excel or Google Sheets is required; Transportation Management System experience is preferred.
• Ability to work primarily in person at Lancaster, TX, travel approximately once per month to other sites, and travel more frequently when business needs or site performance require it.
