Primary Duties
- Directly manage and develop the sales floor team, including managers, sales associates, designers, and customer experience specialists, ensuring customers receive top-notch support and service.
- Serve as a key-holder and senior support across Assistant Store Manager duties, especially in specialty areas like appliances, home improvement, and mattresses, to keep store operations running smoothly.
- Collaborate across Salesfloor, Logistics, Visual, Asset Protection, Talent, and more to align goals and execute store-wide initiatives that elevate customer experience and business success.
- Deliver authentic, friendly service while coaching your team to build complex, connected solutions that balance speed with personalized attention.
- Partner with the General Manager to optimize our store processes, manage profitability, control labor expenses, and translate data into actionable coaching and team improvements.
- Create a positive, team-first environment by encouraging cross-functional collaboration and continuous growth among Associates, Specialists, and Designers.
- Maintain strong leadership presence as Manager on Duty handling scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and ensuring the right team is in the right place at the right time.
- Contribute ideas for new tools, processes, and technologies that help your teams work smarter and more efficiently.
- Stay organized and communicate clearly while juggling fast-paced demands and following through on action plans.
- Work closely with corporate teams to share insights and support store performance enhancements.
