About the Role: Your Impact
The Maintenance Mechanic II is a highly self-motivated, customer-centric team player with extensive experience in industrial maintenance. This role is responsible for solving complex technical problems, handling multiple projects under tight timelines, and independently maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all critical warehouse systems. You'll work with little to no supervision and are crucial for ensuring optimal operational efficiency, adherence to safety standards, and continuous system functionality.

What You'll Need (Minimum Requirements)
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in industrial maintenance and/or combined certification(s) is required.
Technical Skills: Proficient reading and comprehending electrical schematics and using associated tools like volt/ohm meters. Proficient using hand & power tools and electrical testing equipment, including PLC systems. Proficient using computer systems and CMMS software. Experience with basic carpentry, painting, drywall, cleaning, and basic maintenance is required.
Equipment Operation: Experienced safely using warehouse equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts, and aerial lifts.
Physical Capability: Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 lbs unassisted. Must have the ability to access all areas of the building by climbing ladders and gangways safely.
Work Environment & Safety: Ability to work in a non-climate controlled, noisy environment. Must be required to wear applicable personal protective equipment, including arc flash protection. Must be flexible on working hours and willing to work scheduled & unscheduled overtime.

What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)
Your primary duties involve advanced troubleshooting, system maintenance, and leadership:
- Advanced Troubleshooting & Repair: Work independently to troubleshoot all conveyor material handling systems, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection systems. This includes diagnosing and repairing complex systems and Power Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) (e.g., low voltage electrical, hydraulic pumps, gear motors).
- System Controls: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot intricate electrical components, including relay logic, ladder diagrams, motor starters, photo eyes, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, and encoders. This requires proficiency with voltages like 120, 240, and 480VAC and 24VDC.
- System Design & PMs: Assist in the design, layout, and reconfiguration of existing systems as necessary to improve efficiency. Perform all necessary preventative maintenance (PMs) on PIVs, conveyors, and other assets to manufacturer standards.
- Leadership & Mentoring: Mentor team members by motivating, providing guidance, and direct feedback to help them improve individual performance. Develop and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Emergency Response & Projects: Perform emergency repairs in high-pressure circumstances and manage outside contractors. Responsible for keeping tools and supplies organized and executing departmental goals.
