Who We AreThe Content & Client Platforms Pod is responsible for the foundational infrastructure and capabilities that every customer-facing at Wayfair team relies on to deliver innovative and exciting experiences. The Client Platforms team's mission is to enable Wayfair's frontend web and app developers to ship high-quality, performant code quickly and with confidence.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our frontend platforms across both web and mobile app. In this high-impact role, you'll work at the leading edge of technology to push boundaries in infrastructure, performance, AI tooling, and design systems in order to deliver continuous improvements in velocity and quality.

What You'll DoLead our web & app platform squads, owning the strategy, roadmap and outcomes.

Partner closely with developers across customer technology to build real empathy & understanding for the developer experience, in order to identify ways to improve it.

Drive a performance-first culture across Wayfair's frontend platforms, establishing standards and capabilities that enable best-in-class speed and user experience across all web and app properties.

Apply a data-driven mindset to diagnose bottlenecks in developer efficiency, using metrics and insights to systematically remove friction from the development workflow and enable teams to ship faster with each iteration.

Identify and evaluate leading-edge frameworks, tools, and technologies (including GenAI-powered developer tools) to continuously evolve the frontend platform and improve developer experience.

Own the product strategy for Wayfair's enterprise design system, ensuring it scales to support both designers and developers while maintaining adoption and quality across the company.

Define and evangelize platform KPIs and health metrics that tell a compelling story about platform success, developer productivity, and business impact to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We Are a Match Because You Have8

• years experience working in product management.

Value Optimization at Scale. You possess the necessary product management experience to drive consistent value and optimization for widely adopted, mature platform products, ensuring they continue to scale effectively across new teams and use cases.

Deep Developer Empathy. You genuinely enjoy working alongside engineers, understanding their workflows, and diagnosing bottlenecks in their day-to-day experience. You want to 'get your hands dirty' to truly understand pain points and identify opportunities that improve how developers work.

Technical Depth in Frontend Architecture. You possess strong technical understanding of modern frontend systems including web frameworks (React, Next.js), build tooling, SSR patterns, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android), enabling you to make informed architectural decisions and partner effectively with senior engineers.

Proven Success in Adoption. You are skilled at evangelizing new platform capabilities and driving their successful adoption, ensuring the platform delivers maximum business value despite initial resistance.

Sufficient Technical Acumen. You possess reasonable technical depth to understand developer workflows and the microservice architecture. You are able to facilitate and help debate technical decisions regarding core services, GraphQL, and service-to-service data transport.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
