The base salary for this position is $68,000 plus a joining bonus of $5,000.

This is a Boston-based opportunity with a 4 day in-office expectation (Monday - Thursday) with 1 day remote (Friday).

Revolutionize the global supply chain as an Operations Associate within Wayfair's industry-leading logistics organization. You will drive the performance of our proprietary freight forwarding and fulfillment networks, tackling complex operational challenges across CastleGate Fulfillment & Forwarding, Transportation and key third-party partners to directly optimize speed, cost, and delivery quality. By translating real-time logistics data into high-impact communication plans and partnering with cross-functional leadership, your work will directly enhance the customer experience and scale Wayfair's primary competitive advantage.

• Communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities to management both within and outside your immediate line of reporting
• Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams across Operations, Supplier Management, and Technology
• Monitor key performance indicators and work collaboratively to improve the quality of our logistics and supply chain operation
• Create and deliver communication plans with external partners including suppliers, logistics, Wayfair's proprietary freight forwarding service (CastleGate Forwarding), and external 3rd party logistics companies (3PL)
• Develop and implement new processes that improve our operations and contribute to continuous improvement and change management efforts

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Economics, Management or relevant discipline with the expectation that the degree will be obtained by Spring 2027
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Visa sponsorship includes the following work visas: STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN.
• Comfort with 5-15% travel for this role as needed

Catalog Merchandising

The Global Merchandising organization is responsible for building and maintaining Wayfair's e-commerce catalog of over 24 million+ products. The organization consists of multiple teams who each play a crucial role in defining and executing on best-in-class merchandising. The Global Operations Platform teams guide the management of our enormous product catalog and provide suppliers with tools to continually expand our product assortment. The Merch teams drive product discovery, consideration and purchase on all of our stores and marketing channels by ensuring customers have complete, accurate and relevant product information, and removing friction for suppliers to provide it. The Data Integrations & Analytics teams leverage Big Data to optimize internal merchandising processes. Together, these teams deliver on key merchandising goals.

Global Supply Chain

Wayfair's Global Supply Chain (GSC) team is a network of interconnected global departments that support the journey of a product once an order is placed. This includes teams that manage all aspects of the Fulfillment, Transportation, & Delivery function, teams that support the frontline operations, and teams that manage and monetize Returns & Incidents. The objective of the GSC team is to get orders to customers' homes quickly, reliably, and conveniently, while enhancing the customer experience by preventing and reducing product defects. As a part of the GSC team, you will have an important role in accomplishing our mission: delivering cost-efficient perfect orders at scale.
