The 7-Ventures Operations Analyst supports the growth of high potential portfolio brands within the 7-Eleven ecosystem through operational execution, data driven insights, and cross functional collaboration. This role leads performance reporting, identifies operational opportunities, and partners with Merchandising, Operations, and other key teams to improve in-store results. The analyst also supports the Emerging Brands Program by assessing new brand opportunities and evaluating early-stage tests. Ideal candidates bring strong retail operations experience and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable recommendations.
What You'll Do
- Lead dashboards, reporting, and quarterly business reviews to track portfolio brand performance across tests, regional rollouts, and national launches.
- Identify operational friction points and work with cross functional teams: Merchandising, Operations, Pricing, Digital, Delivery, Marketing to improve execution and accelerate brand growth.
- Serve as an operational advocate for portfolio companies, ensuring alignment and removing barriers across corporate and field teams.
- Support portfolio brands with strategic services to accelerate growth within 7 Eleven by guiding distribution planning, performance diagnostics, P&L and margin insights, assortment strategy, promotional evaluation, and coordination with Merchandising, Marketing, Digital, and Field Operations teams.
Emerging Brands Program & Pipeline Support
- Analyze consumer, category, and competitive data using IRI/Nielsen, Power BI, and internal systems to identify whitespace and evaluate potential new brands.
- Support Emerging Brands Program activities including application review, test validation, and the annual Brands with Heart showcase event.
- Conduct category and industry research across CPG, tech, and ESG to support future pipeline decisions.
- Flex across Business Development initiatives such as pilot launches, sampling events, and ad hoc analysis.
What You Bring
- Strong retail operations experience: 7 Eleven Field Experience or Franchise Operations preferred.
- Ability to translate large datasets into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort simplifying processes or navigating ambiguity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint; experience with IRI/Nielsen and Power BI a plus.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA/master's preferred.

- Exposure to start ups, tech, ESG, or investing is a plus.
