Job Summary:

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join our collaborative and well-established legal team. This role will provide critical legal support to the company's merchandise and proprietary (private label) brands initiatives, partnering closely with cross-functional business teams to drive efficient and compliant commercial outcomes.

This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions while managing complex transactions and competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal counsel on complex business transactions supporting merchandise and private brand teams
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, merchandising, and development contracts
  • Deliver timely, pragmatic legal advice aligned with business objectives
  • Partner closely with merchandising, procurement, marketing, and product teams on initiatives impacting product sales and distribution
  • Advise on legal risks and help develop practical solutions to support business strategies

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations impacting merchandising, product development, and marketing

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active State Bar membership in good standing
  • 4+ years of relevant transactional legal experience
  • Retail, fresh food, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience
  • Familiarity with: Private label and branded products, Retail promotions and funding structures, Franchise relationships, Intellectual property matters, Product labeling, marketing, and regulatory requirements

Pay: $180,000.00 - $187,000.00 Annual
