Primary Duties
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
- Analyze application portfolios, identify dependencies and common infrastructure platform components, and assess migration feasibility
- Architect hybrid AWS and on-premises solutions
- Guide customers on architecture choices and inform them of the best practices to adopt AWS efficiently and cost-effectively
- Ensure success in building, migrating, and deploying applications, software and services on the AWS platform
- Brief senior executive team on customer progress of adopting the AWS and define future platform requirements for on-boarding and migration to AWS
- Author AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers
- Share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community
- Engage with developers, system administrators, software architects, project managers, directors, and C-level customers to define cloud strategies and deployments
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and ensure that solutions are designed for successful deployment on AWS

Position Requirements:
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or related occupations of Database Administrator, Support Engineer, Systems Engineer or another related occupation.
- Employer will accept Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to the Master's and one year of experience.
- Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s):
- (1) designing, implementing, and consulting with distributed applications;
- (2) architecting, provisioning, and deploying applications to public cloud environments or on-premises virtualized environments using C++, Perl, Python, or Java;
- (3) experience with database architecture, performance tuning, and either Big Data or Hadoop.
Work Schedule: 40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm
Salary Range: $153,600/year to $207,800/year.
